Having played for various London Irish Academy sides during my years of youth rugby, I'm a little bit nervous of turning out on Saturday at Sunbury wearing a different shirt! All London Irish sides pride themselves on being powerful, direct and well drilled and will provide a very good indication of where we stand as a side before we even leave the country! The Lambs have always thrived upon competitive matches and I'm sure that the four games which await us will provide stiff competition indeed... We must stick to our philosophy of playing high tempo, attacking rugby and carry this over to defence where we must look to be as confrontational as possible.
I'm sure this set of Lambs will live up to what the shirt demands and bring home victories from Italy - Bring it on!
