The Lambs lost 27-0 to a very strong London Irish Academy side today in the pre-tour warm up! The scoreline perhaps does not reflect how well the Lambs played at times! For a scratch side who do not train together they did very well to compete with a very big and well drilled academy side. The difference between the two sides was indeed largely to do with training. The Lambs were adventurous in attack and simply made too many mistakes which gave the Irish advantage and points. With a bit more time on the training field together these would not have happened and the scoreline may well have been a different one!
