We move into a new year.

New name, new season... surely it can only lead to more success?!

Having had six months to reflect, our achievements as a side in Zimbabwe only seem greater. Hard ground, baking sun, intense schedule and a hostile enviroment; to come away from that with our reputation enhanced and yet another national side beaten was a huge achievement, notwithstanding any future litigation.

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

Exciting times are ahead. I predict the Independent Schools Rugby Footbal club to succeed at all levels this coming season, whilst putting into practice our core values of playing attractive open rugby (even us front-rowers; well sometimes!). This is an organisation which has been brave enough to venture back into lost lands and stay true to its beliefs, something I am certain will continue to occur.
